The list below is not exhaustive, but gives a flavour of the jobs I'm most commonly asked to do. To discuss rates and availability, please get in touch, I'd love to hear from you. 

I provide a year-round garden maintenance service to help your green spaces to flourish. 

Whether it's lawns, beds, borders, trees or containers, I can help source, establish and maintain your plants. 

I'll weed where necessary, mulch and feed as required. 

I'll prune your hedges, shrubs, climbers, and fruit trees for shape, yield and longevity. 

I want you to be happy with your space and enjoy your garden, and understand that, once you're heading in the right direction, you may want to do the gardening yourself. That's great! 

I can also advise on how you can best maintain your garden if you don't have the finances to regularly employ a gardener.  

Any consulting is by its nature bespoke, but might include:

• Drawing up an annual maintenance plan for your garden.
• Writing up notes on particular plants in your garden so that you know when and how to take best care of them.
• Developing plans to optimise your space to produce the results you'd like.
• Developing plans to increase a wildlife focus for your garden.  
• Tuition in any techniques I have learned and use.

It's easy to leave tools out in the rain, to allow them to dull over time. So, assuming that a tool can be saved, I'll remove any rust and resharpen as best I can. Most commonly this will be secateurs and shears, but spades and hoes also work best when sharp. I'll take them all on.

 Where practical, I'll dispose of any arisings and excess. I can advise on what can and what shouldn't be composted. Disposal would come at an extra charge if I need to make a run to the recycling centre, but I'll work with you to minimise costs and will aim to compost where possible.
